Cardo Yarn

Cardo is a chunky 4 ply yarn made of 100% non superwash Uruguayan Corriedale wool.

We love this wool for its long and strong staple that has a lot of shine and crimp, which gives the yarn excellent stitch definition and a knitted fabric that will retain its shape very well.

Cardo is the perfect sweater yarn; it knits fast and will show off cables and fancy stitches. We also love it for home goods like pillows and blankets.

Cardo is hand dyed by women artisans in Manos cooperatives in Uruguay's countryside.
